There is no set template for a Taylor French home. We believe that the creation of a new home is an art and not a science of standardisation. Quality underpins everything that we do and we strive to ensure our standards are nothing other than perfect. Each development’s unique location, history and community is considered at every step of the process, be it planning, design or construction. It's the reason we have a reputation for achieving outstanding build quality with real attention to detail.
In the pursuit of quality throughout the company, we are fully committed to superior workmanship and service, always putting the customer first in all that we do. Our quality control system is continuously monitored and updated to ensure that all services offer the highest standards of quality and reliability.
Being sustainable is central to our business – from the homes we build to the way in which we operate. We understand the need to live successfully in the present without compromising our ability to do so in the future, and in doing so, have worked to the Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4.
We champion sustainability in all that we do by:
We offer expert advice during planning, design and construction, helping to address a range of waste minimisation issues and energy efficiency guidelines, while ensuring quality of materials and designs are maintained.
Thinking sustainably at the outset means that we can implement cost effective solutions that reduces the carbon footprint for all stages of the home build.
At Taylor French we maintain close relationships with many district planning and highway authorities, which allows us to make direct and informal enquiries of the planners when necessary. A careful understanding of planning policy is essential, from the governmental to the local level, and we keep a very close eye on the latest requirements for planning. We always consult with planning, environmental, conservation and highway authorities, amongst others, before submission of a planning application. This allows us to design schemes that will satisfy local policy, and avoid problems when it comes to achieving a planning permission. We consider this to be absolutely key in the planning process.
OTHER PROPERTY PROFESSIONALS
We work closely with architects, land and property agents, property lawyers, surveyors, planning consultants, highway engineers, archaeologists, ecological consultants, and a host of other professionals. We employ these people during the planning and construction process in order to support an application with professional opinion, at our own cost.
